The Select Committee on Social Affairs has considered the Health (Amendment) Bill, 1996, and made amendments thereto and has amended the Title to read as follows:
AN ACT TO MAKE FURTHER PROVISION IN RELATION TO THE INCOME, EXPENDITURE AND INDEBTEDNESS OF HEALTH BOARDS, TO APPORTION RESPONSIBILITIES BETWEEN HEALTH BOARDS AND THEIR CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS, TO AMEND THE HEALTH ACTS, 1947 TO 1996, THE HEALTH (CORPORATE BODIES), ACT, 1961, AND THE NURSES ACT, 1995, AND TO PROVIDE FOR RELATED MATTERS.
The Bill, as amended, is reported to the Dáil.
