Treacy asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction a project (details supplied) in County Galway; if so, the date on which this project will be sanctioned; the amount of grant to be allocated; the total cost of the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A brief for Monivea sewerage scheme is with my Department at present. Having regard to the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve it. The estimated cost of the scheme is £780,000.
