49 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the stage of planning of the Ballinamoney national school project; when tenders will be invited in respect of this building; when construction work will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17619/96]
My Department has approved the plans for the proposed building programme at Ballinamoney national school and has authorised the board of management to seek planning permission for the work.
At this stage of the planning process it is not possible to state when tenders will be invited or when the building work will commence.
