Vol. 469 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Joe Walsh

Question:

206 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made for the payment of beef premia and depopulation grants to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [17636/96]

Arrangements are currently in hand regarding the processing of the application made by the person in question for the ten month special beef premia. Subject to the application passing the normal checks made by the Department, it is anticipated that payment of the beef premia will be made in early November 1996.

A decision in relation to the payment of reactor-depopulation grants to the person in question has not been made. The Deputy will be informed of the decision taken in this case in due course.
