Vol. 469 No. 5

Written Answers. - Kildalkey (Meath) Sewerage Scheme.

Noel Dempsey

Question:

127 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve the preliminary plan for a sewerage scheme in Kildalkey, County Meath, in view of the fact that the absence of such a scheme is inhibiting the development of the village. [17747/96]

Preliminary proposals for a sewerage scheme to serve Kildalkey were submitted to my Department last June. Further information regarding the possible use of reed bed technology has been requested from Meath County Council and their response is awaited.
