155 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made for a second stage payment under the REP scheme to be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will pay a grant under the control of farmyard pollution scheme to him. The person concerned applied for his second year payment under the REP scheme. However, under revised monitoring and control procedures implemented by my Department, compliance checks are carried out to ensure that farmers have completed the specific works outlined during the first year of the plan before second year payments are made.
