My Department has not received an application for grant-aid under the farm electrification grants scheme for the person concerned. I have been informed by the ESB that despite extensive inquiries they have been unable to locate this application. I have arranged for a fresh application form to be forwarded to the person concerned and I have been assured by the ESB that it will be dealt with promptly. As soon as the application is received in my Department, it will be immediately processed, and the applicant will be informed of the outcome.
