The report of the audit of Carndonagh community school, as is the case for other similar reports, was prepared for the purposes of my Department and the Board of Management of the school only. These reports are not intended for publication. The interests of public accountability for the financial affairs of schools is met by making these reports available to the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General pursuant to that office's role in respect of the expenditure of public funds.
