281 Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the total amount of funding provided in County Galway from national lottery based funding through his Department in each of the years from 1987 to 1996. [18300/96]

In 1991 a total of £940,581 was provided from national lottery funds for the capital and non capital expenses of the National Botanic Gardens. This is the only occasion on which my Department has received money from the national lottery.
