In my reply to Dáil Questions Nos. 211, 212 and 216 yesterday I gave information relating to expenditure on consultancy in 1995. Some of these projects were awarded before I took office. I now set out hereunder these projects and value which were awarded since 16 December 1994. A total of 27 consultancy contracts were awarded at a total value of £1,273,082. Consultancy assignments in the Department are in respect of computer systems development, policy development and the assessment and evaluation of schemes.
