70 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Health when subventions will be paid to the Western Health Board in respect of patients in nursing homes in view of the fact that no payments have been made to new applicants for some months. [20105/96]
Limerick East): Discussions between officials of my Department and officers of the Western Health Board regarding the funding of the nursing home subvention scheme are being concluded and I expect that the board will be in a position to address the outstanding problems shortly.
