Vol. 470 No. 8

Written Answers. - Proposed Dublin Halting Site.

Seamus Brennan

Question:

89 Mr. S. Brennan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will answer the part of Parliamentary Question No. 142 of 22 October 1996, regarding the original purpose of lands at Lower Dodder Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14, which have been transferred from Dublin Corporation to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council pursuant to the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1993; if his attention has been drawn to the potentially serious undermining of adjacent building foundations if development on the site occurs; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20098/96]

I am aware of the issues referred to concerning these lands. As indicated in the reply to Question No. 142 on 22 October 1996, the proposal of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council for an eight bay halting site on the lands in question is being examined.
