Vol. 471 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

25 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has to wait until 28 May 1997 to attend an out-patient department of a hospital in Cork; and if he will have arrangements made for an earlier appointment to be granted. [20680/96]

Limerick East): As the determination of out-patient appointments is a matter for the hospital authorities in the first instance, I have asked the Secretary/Manager of the South Infirmary/ Victoria Hospital, Cork to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly, as a matter of urgency.
