152 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the application for cohesion funding for the Connemara environment project which was submitted to his Department by Galway County Council in December 1994. [21161/96]

An application was submitted to the European Commission on 13 June 1995 for Cohesion Fund assistance for Stage 1 of this scheme. No decision has yet been made by the Commission on the application.
