160 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Education whether she supports in principle the creation of a national youth forum for people with disabilities; and whether EU funding will be available in respect of such a project. [20759/96]
I welcome the creation of a national youth forum for people with disabilities. The social contact, community involvement and interaction of youth with disabilities are major enabling factors for youth to lead full, active and independent lives. Youth with disabilities are active members of many youths organisations. The availability of EU funding for the creation of a national youth forum is a matter for the relevant EU finance authorities.
