202 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Education if she will include in the 1997 Estimates the cost of providing for the proposed new Gaelscoil Faicheann at Bóthar na Páirce, Killarney, County Kerry; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21061/96]
An application for full planning permission for Gaelscoil Faicheann has been lodged and a decision is awaited. Subject to planning permission, my Department will be in a position to progress the acquisition of the site and the preparation of tender documentation for the contract. Until these stages have been concluded, I am not in a position to consider the allocation of specific funding for the project.
