Vol. 471 No. 4

Written Answers - Contributory Old Age Pension.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

241 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Social Welfare the proposals, if any, he has to change the qualifying conditions for contributory old age pensions for self-employed people who were aged over 56 years in 1988. [20846/96]

The information requested by the Deputy is contained in my reply to Question No. 766 on 25 July 1996. There has been no change in the position since then.
