263 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when payment will be made on a REP scheme application by a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and the current status of the application. [20876/96]
Under the REP scheme a random 5 per cent prepayment check is carried out. This check is a detailed assessment of all aspects of the plan and includes an on farm inspection. A check has been carried out on the applicant's farm and payment will issue to him within the next few weeks.
