Question:

117 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for the Environment the number of pensionable service years required for full pension purposes in respect of general practitioners and nurses in the health service. [20831/96]

Under the Local Government superannuation scheme, all grades require 40 years of pensionable service, including notional additions to service which may be allowed in certain circumstances, for full pension.
