Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Eoin Ryan — the decisions taken in relation to the National Convention Centre at the RDS; (2) Deputy O'Donoghue — the transfer of the District Courts out of the Four Courts building in Dublin; (3) Deputy Seán Kenny — the urgent need to provide drug treatment services in the Darndale-Priorswood area of Dublin 17; (4) Deputy Leonard — the need to include funding for industrial infrastructural development in the Border counties under the INTERREG and peace and reconciliation programmes— (5) Deputy de Valera — the need to take immediate steps to avert the auction on Friday, 15 November 1996 of furniture from Headfort House, County Meath; (6) Deputy O'Rourke — the current position following the announcement on 13 November 1996 in relation to APC and its plans for plants in Counties Louth and Clare; (7) Deputy Flood — the urgent need to erect the permanent building to accommodate Coláiste de hÍde, Tallaght, Dublin 24, which was sanctioned in 1994; (8) Deputy Ó Cuív — the need for a compensation fund for shellfish farmers who suffer serious loss due to natural disasters such as red tide in order to ensure the continued development of this natural resource based industry; (9) Deputy Lynch — the urgent need to make funding available to alleviate the hardship caused by the recent flooding in Cork.

The matters raised by Deputies Leonard, Flood, O'Donoghue and Ó Cuív have been selected for discussion.
