Byrne asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a person (details supplied) in County Wexford made an application for area aid and that such aid has not been paid in spite of the fact that other persons in this person's locality have received their payments; if so, when this area aid will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This application for arable aid is currently being processed by my Department and payment should issue within the next week.
