70 Mr. E. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of the order he made extending the designation of areas in Sligo on 22 September 1995 for the purposes of the Urban Renewal Act, 1986; the reason for such an order; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The relevant areas in Sligo are described in the Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (Designated Areas) Order, 1995 (S.I. No. 247 of 1995). The background to the designation of those areas is set out in the reply to Question No. 106 of 17 October 1995.
