72 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Health the amount of funds allocated by his Department in respect of a day-care centre on the site of Bandon District Hospital, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21411/96]
Limerick East): My Department has been asked by the Southern Health Board to provide capital funding of £100,000 towards a proposed day centre for the elderly in Bandon.
Sufficient funding has been provided this year to permit the planning stages to be carried out.
