110 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the estimated cost to date of publicising the Jobstart scheme; the number of persons who have availed of this scheme as of 8 November 1996; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22346/96]

The cost of publicising Jobstart is an operational matter for FÁS who have day-to-day responsibility for delivering the programme.

As of 8 November, 1996, 334 people have been employed under Jobstart and this had increased to 390 by 15 November, 1996.
