46 Mr. O'Donoghue asked the Minister for Justice whether any investigation was held or will be held into the behaviour of any gardaí arising out of the seizure of illegal drugs at Urlingford, County Kilkenny in 1995; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [21793/96]

I am informed by the Garda Commissioner he is satisfied that there is nothing relating to this seizure which would suggest that a Garda investigation is required. He does not, therefore, intend to conduct an investigation into the matter.
