69 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Health the number of geriatric people being cared for in private nursing homes throughout the country; the number in each health board area; the cost of such care to each health board; the year in which this scheme was initiated; if he will give the relevant figures in respect of each health board since the scheme was initiated, including the figures for 1996; the gross figure for the country as a whole; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Limerick East): As the information sought is not immediately available in my Department, I have asked the health boards to supply same and I will forward it to the Deputy as soon as possible.
