Vol. 472 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Joe Walsh

Question:

161 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Health if he will allocate funds from the national lottery to Co-Action West Cork, Bantry, County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22816/96]

No application for national lottery funding has been received by my Department from Co-Action West Cork.

I understand from the Southern Health Board that in 1996 the board has approved a grant of £500 from their general lottery funding in respect of the provision of equipment for Co-Action West Cork's early childhood services and £6,000 for the provision of respite services by this agency under the respite care scheme.
