Vol. 472 No. 1

Written Answers. - VTOS Scheme.

Tony Gregory

Question:

198 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if she will review the application of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 1 who was refused inclusion under the vocational training opportunity scheme in spite of the fact that he had been already accepted by the school. [22469/96]

One of the eligibility requirements for the vocational training opportunities scheme is that participants should be 21 years of age or over. It is understood that the person in question does not meet this criterion. In the circumstances, it is regretted it is not possible to allow him to participate in the scheme at present.
