Vol. 472 No. 1

Other Questions. - Export Credit Insurance Scheme.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

36 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the current State liability under the export credit insurance scheme; and if he will make a statement on its operation. [21997/96]

Mr. O'Sullivan

The total value of export credit insurance currently afforded under the state export credit insurance scheme is £16.5 million. This represents the current aggregate liability under the scheme.

Question No. 37 is in the name of Deputy Hughes.

Mr. O'Sullivan

There seems to be some confusion as I understand Question No. 37 is in the name of Deputy Batt O'Keeffe and is being taken with Question No. 86 in the name of Deputy Foley.

The Order Paper states categorically that Question No. 37 is in the name of Deputy Hughes. The question is the same but there seems to be some confusion with regard to the names of the Deputies.
