Written Answers. - EU Grants.

Joe Walsh

Question:

323 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the number of farmers who have been disqualified from receipt of EU or departmental grants to date in 1996; the reason for such disqualifications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22821/96]

The following tabular statement sets out the information currently available.

I regret that, in the time available and because many files are still not fully processed, it is not possible to provide the details requested by the Deputy in respect of all grant schemes. I will arrange for my Department to provide additional information to the Deputy within the next few weeks.
