12 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he has received a report from Minister of State, Deputy Avril Doyle, on the situation regarding postal deliveries; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23485/96]

A report on the quality of postal services from the Minister of State, Deputy Avril Doyle, was submitted to my predecessor. I intend to bring it to Government in the near future.
