53 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will request the relevant health board to review the case of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who urgently needs an operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23607/96]

Minister for Health (Mr. Noonan,

Limerick East): I have had inquiries made and am advised that the person concerned is scheduled for admission to hospital for surgery before the end of December. The hospital in question will shortly contact the person concerned with an exact admission date.
