61 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Education if she intends to release the necessary funds to ensure that construction will commence on Coláiste de hÍde, Tallaght, Dublin 24, in order that this building will be completed for the school year commencing 1 September 1997; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Architectual planning for Coláiste de h-Íde, Tallaght, Dublin 24 is proceeding. At this stage of planning, the question of funding does not immediately arise. However, the project will be considered in light of the capital allocation made available to my Department for post-primary building purposes in 1997.
62 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Education if she intends to make a grant available to a school (details supplied) in County Dublin for the installation of storage heaters in pre-fab classrooms, which grant was applied for in 1995; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [23556/96]
I am not yet in a position to take a decision in relation to the application for grant-aid made by the school referred to by the Deputy.
At present, my Department is examining a number of matters relating to the application. I expect that this examination will be completed within the next week and my Department will then be in contact with the school management.
