Written Answers. - Dental Service.

Mary O'Rourke

Question:

77 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will request the relevant health board to intervene in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who is elderly and is greatly debilitated due to waiting for dental treatment. [24263/96]

Limerick East): The provision of dental treatment to eligible persons in County Westmeath is the statutory responsibility of the Midland Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to review the case of the person named by the Deputy and to inform the Deputy of the outcome of this review.
