92 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, to date in relation to the processing of an application for grant assistance in respect of a project (details supplied) in County Cavan; when the application will be approved; the level of funding which will be provided; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Grants have recently been allocated under the major facilities scheme and all available funds are now committed to these projects. The application from the group concerned will be considered in the event of further funding being provided for the programme in 1997 and in the context of the many hundreds of applications on hand from sport and community organisations.
