177 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the total amount of national lottery moneys received to date by his Department; if he will give details of the allocation of such moneys to projects; if there are any commitments in regard to future disbursement of such funds; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Details regarding the amounts of national lottery funding and the individual allocations disbursed by my Department since its establishment in 1993 until 1995 are available in the Appropriation Accounts for the relevant years. The amount of national lottery funding available to my Department in 1996 is set out in the 1996 Public Services Estimate. Details of the allocations to date to individual projects of the statutory autonomous Heritage Council — to which I appointed on 10 July, 1995, under the Heritage, Act, 1995 — will be published in its annual reports. Details of expenditure on individual projects by the former National Heritage Council — up to 9 July, 1995 — is published in the annual Appropriation Accounts.
Details of the allocations disbursed by my Department to individual projects in 1996 are contained in the following table. The amount of lottery funding available to my Department for 1997 are set out in the appendix to the recently published Estimates for the Public Services — abridged version — 1997.
