Vol. 473 No. 1

Written Answers. - Peace and Reconciliation Funds.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

77 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance the amount of money approved from the peace and reconciliation funds to date; the amount of money allocated in this regard; and the amount of money remaining in this programme. [23451/96]

The Deputy asked a similar question on 5 November last. The reply to that question included an appendix setting out the position in relation to the total commitments entered into under the programme and a listing of projects assisted up to end September 1996. The next update from the various implementing bodies will take the position up to the end of the year.

I note that the Deputy has a question identical to this one down for oral reply on 15 January next. At that stage I should be in a position to let him have the details to end 1996.
