79 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Education the reason final payment has not been discharged by her Department in respect of a project (details supplied) in County Galway; the date on which payment will be made; the amount of funds to be forwarded; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The grant to which the Deputy refers was approved by my Department in December 1993. The grant has been paid in full. The total amount paid was £28,840 and the final payment issued to the school management in May 1995.
