Vol. 473 No. 2

Written Answers. - Ministerial Travel.

Ivor Callely

Question:

88 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice the total cost to the Exchequer arising out of the use of air transport for all foreign and internal flights by her and the people accompanying her for each of the years 1980 and 1990; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [24758/96]

I was not Minister for Justice during the years in question.

As regards costs incurred by my predecessors, there would be a disproportionate expenditure of staff time in endeavouring to compile the information sought by the Deputy.
