Ahern asked the Minister for Health the current position regarding the need to develop an outreach programme for the Dundalk area of County Louth, in order to protect young people at risk, particularly those who might be likely to be drawn into teenage prostitution; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A submission from the North-Eastern Health Board proposing a comprehensive inter-agency response to the problem of teenage prostitution in the Dundalk area is at present being evaluated in my Department.
