Question:346 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education when she will fund the proposed extension to St. John's national school, Ballisodare, County Sligo; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1194/97]
Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.
The current position on the proposed extension to St. John's national school, Ballisodare, County Sligo, is that a fire certificate for the project has been received and my Department's architect is currently preparing the contract documentation. When this work is completed, a decision will be made on the tender process in the light of existing contractual commitments and funding available for this year. Both of these matters are currently under consideration. Accordingly, I am not in a position to state when tenders will be invited or construction commence.
