368 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Education the reason a project (details supplied) in County Galway has not been sanctioned; if she will review this case and direct her Department to sanction this project; if so, the date on which this will be done; the amount of grant to be allocated for this project; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The project at the school to which the Deputy refers was executed without prior departmental approval. For this reason grant-aid was not approved.

Officials of my Department will review the case and will communicate with the school authorities on completion of the review.
