Vol. 473 No. 4

Written Answers. - Registration of Title.

Michael Ring

Question:

413 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice the registered owner of a stretch of river (details supplied) in County Mayo. [1036/97]

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the appropriate way to obtain the information sought by the Deputy is to lodge a mapping search in the Land Registry accompanied by the prescribed fees. The search should be in Form 100 of the Land Registration Rules 1972 together with a map, properly marked, on the current largest scale published by the Ordnance Survey. The map may be an original ordnance survey map or a land registry file plan provided such file plan is on the largest published ordnance survey scale. The fees payable are £4 per folio.
