479 Ms Keogh asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the State and semi-State boards under the aegis of his Department; the appointments, if any, which have been made to these boards in the past year; the number of women who have been appointed; the percentage of women currently on each of these boards; and the end date of the current term of all of the boards. The information requested by the Deputy in relation to statutory agencies operating under the remit of my Department is as follows:

The tenure of office of the current board of CERT lapses in August 1997 while that of the chairman expires in December 1997. The expiration of the tenure of office of the current board members of Bord Fáilte vary in accordance with the commencement date of board appointments. Accordingly, vacancies will occur on this board as follows:

In so far as An Bord Tráchtála is concerned, one third of board members are obliged to retire on 1 September of each year.
