Written Answers. - European Council Meetings.
Meeting of the European Council are to take place in Amsterdam on 16-17 June under The Netherlands Presidency, and in Luxembourg on 12-13 December under the forthcoming Luxembourg Presidency.
No dates have been set for any informal metings of the European Council during 1997. It is a matter for the Presidency to decide in the light of developments in the Union whether informal or special meetings of the European Council are required.
