Vol. 474 No. 5

Written Answers. - Compulsory Purchase Orders.

Brendan Kenneally

Question:

66 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the compulsory purchase order on lands at Sallypark in Waterford, particularly in view of the environmental impact statement which was prepared and the effect on adjoining property outside the compulsory purchase order area; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3359/97]

I will give a decision on this matter as soon as possible. As my role in the matter is of a quasi-judicial nature, it would not be appropriate to comment on any aspect of the scheme at this stage.
