113 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the plans, if any, currently being explored in relation to modulating milk prices in an effort to support small dairy farmers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4047/97]

Discussions at EU level are scheduled to commence during this year on future EU dairy policy, following the presentation by the European Commission of its analysis and proposals. Such discussions will, of course, encompass support price levels.
