Limerick East): As the Deputy is aware income from health contributions are part of the Appropriations-in-Aid within the Health Vote. The total receipts for 1994, 1995 and 1996 were £198,821,906, £214,196,633 and £214,860,074 respectively. The Minister for Finance has included a sum of £223 million in respect of receipts from health contributions in my Department's Vote for Appropriations-in-Aid for 1997.
