189 Mr. M. Smith asked the Minister for the Environment if he will include provision in the 1997 voluntary housing allocation for a sum to enable Clogher, Clonolty, County Tipperary community co-op to build seven houses for elderly people. [4320/97]
An application for a grant of £231,000 under the capital assistance scheme in respect of this project was recently received from Tipperary SR County Council, who are responsible for the detailed administration of the scheme in their area. A decision on the application must await the receipt of certain essential information which has been requested from the council.
