202 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the total amount spent by her Department on education in counties Louth and Meath for each of the past five years; the comparative figures between the two counties on a proportionate basis as regards populations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Financial allocations made by my Department for the delivery of education services are not determined on a county by county basis. Accordingly, the data sought by the Deputy is not readily available. It would require a disproportionate amount of official time and expenditure to collate such information.
